Jan Brouckaert Photography
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I got into photography when I was 18. My main focus was land- and seascapes, later on I developed an interest in night photography and documentary photojournalism.
The central theme throughout my work is the contrast of a small human being against the overwhelming power of nature; feelings of loneliness and nostalgia are discreetly used to underline the ephemeral presence of human life.
